Outings

There are two keys to the success of any well-planned golf tournament: a great turnout and happy guests. We know how to make both happen, with as little or as much of your involvement as you care to have. Our tournament coordinator can provide turnkey service for your tournament or simply carry out your requests. In either event, though, your charitable or corporate tournament at The Tradition at Wallingford will turn out just as well as you had hoped.

Outing Overview

The staff of The Tradition at Wallingford looks forward to working with your group to make your golf experience most enjoyable. Our Tournament Director will be working with you and your group on all of the details. The following golf services are available to enhance your golf outing:

Tournament Coordination - Our staff is able to provide our guests with contests, professional scoring, rules and information sheets, course set-up, personalized cart signs, announcements, award presentations and assist the Tournament Chairman in all aspects of outing management.

Driving Range - (subject to availability) Range balls available upon request.

Tee Times - We welcome Tee Time events. Modified shotgun starts as well as full shotgun starts may be arranged. We welcome groups of any size.

Putting Tournaments - Add some great fun before or after golf with our creative putting competition. On our practice green we will create a challenging short course and facilitate a putting competition for $150.

Etiquette Program - If desired, our staff will be happy to present a 15 to 30 minute complimentary etiquette program to your group prior to play.

Clinics - An Instructional Clinic coordinated by The Tradition at Wallingford PGA Head Golf Professional is a great way to entertain your group prior to golf at a fee of $200. Or individual instruction for your group by walking up and down the range is available for $100 per hour per instructor.

Rental Clubs - We offer top-of-the-line rentals.

Food & Beverage - Despite their golf score, your tournament participants will enjoy a multitude of food and beverage choices. Whether served within our relaxing grill room, breathtaking patio areas or intimate meeting spaces, our service and quality will provide your guests with an experience to remember.

Pro Shop Merchandise - A $5 Pro Shop credit for each participant goes towards tee gifts and/or prizes.

Tournament Prizes/Memorabilia - Our fully stocked Pro Shop and professional staff is able to provide all of your tournament prize needs. Special orders are always welcome. We will match any competitors’ prices.
